Victoria Vilma is a respected Latina leader and educator with more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit cultural organizations. Known for her integrity, strong values, and collaborative leadership style, she leads with a deep commitment to community empowerment, cultural heritage, and service to others.


Her leadership is grounded in transparency, respect, and a strong moral compass, inspiring those around her to work together toward a shared vision. Victoria Vilma is passionate about developing future leaders, fostering teamwork, and creating meaningful cultural education programs that strengthen community identity and connection.


She has been instrumental in building strategic partnerships with institutions, community organizations, and cultural leaders, helping expand opportunities for cultural exchange and collaboration. In addition, she leads the organization’s legislative and advocacy efforts, ensuring that Peruvian culture continues to have a visible, respected, and celebrated presence in Minnesota’s diverse cultural landscape.

VICE PRESIDENT

Victoria is a dedicated community organizer, cultural advocate, and creative artistic director who plays a central role in shaping both the operational strength and artistic vision of Kuyayki. Known for her creativity, initiative, and deep commitment to the organization’s mission, she is often the driving force connecting the many moving parts that bring Kuyayki’s work to life.

Victoria Jasmine’s role extends across the organization’s core functions, helping align strategy, programming, and artistic expression. From coordinating volunteers and managing event logistics to supporting program development and guiding artistic direction, she ensures that ideas evolve into well-executed and meaningful cultural experiences. Her ability to move seamlessly between planning, creativity, and operations makes her an essential pillar of the team.

In many ways, she serves as the point where planning, creativity, and community engagement come together. As a strong creator and visionary, she contributes to the development of performances, cultural presentations, and artistic programming that reflect the richness of Peruvian traditions.

Deeply connected to her cultural roots, Victoria Jasmine also supports governance initiatives and the legislative committee, helping ensure that Kuyayki’s programs remain authentic, impactful, and aligned with its mission to preserve and promote Peruvian culture. Through her leadership and creative energy, she helps transform ideas into experiences that inspire both the organization and the community it serves.

BOARD MEMBER

Katterine is a business consultant and operations strategist with more than 15 years of international experience across the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. She brings valuable expertise in organizational strategy, process improvement, logistics, governance, and board development helping strengthen Kuyayki’s long-term growth, sustainability, and professional structure.

Beyond her strategic contributions, Katterine plays an important artistic role within the organization. As a passionate dancer, she contributes to choreography development and is especially dedicated to teaching and mentoring beginning dancers, helping new members build confidence while learning the beauty and tradition of Peruvian dance.

BOARD MEMBER

Lucia is a commercial engineer and dancer with 18 years of experience in banking and finance. She supports Kuyayki through marketing strategy, social media management, community outreach, event promotion, logistics coordination, and organizational development, helping strengthen the organization’s visibility, growth, and community impact.

Lucia brings a strategic mindset and a strong ability to transform strong ideas into impactful results, ensuring that Kuyayki’s programs, performances, and cultural initiatives reach wider audiences and create meaningful community engagement. She also supports board initiatives and community partnerships, helping build connections that advance the organization’s mission.

Working directly with the community, including underserved and marginalized communities, Lucia focuses on building authentic relationships and ensuring Kuyayki’s programs remain inclusive, accessible, and responsive to community needs.

Katia is an entrepreneur, professional dancer with over 20 years of experience, and talented costume designer. She was honored as “Queen S.M. Katia I” at Club Libertad Denver, a prestigious Peruvian cultural institution. As the owner of Sew What in St. Paul, she brings creativity and craftsmanship to Kuyayki through wardrobe design, costume production, and artistic presentation. Katia also supports event logistics and special cultural productions, helping bring the visual beauty of Peruvian dance to life.

Together, this leadership team combines artistic talent, professional expertise, and community passion to guide Kuyayki Perú Minnesota in its mission of sharing, celebrating, and preserving Peruvian culture across Minnesota and beyond.
